Search JSTOR

Step 1:

Access JSTOR. (If you're off-campus, you will be prompted to login with your myPVCC username and password)

Step 2:

Click the "Advanced Search" button below the search box. JSTOR contains book reviews, pamphlets, and articles. Most of the time when you search JSTOR, you just want the articles. So, we will filter by that before you search.

Step 3:

Enter your search terms in the search box.

Step 4:

If you would like to retrieve only articles, select "Articles" from the "Narrow Results" section

Step 5:

After you have retrieved your results, you can read them by clicking on the title, or you can download the full text by clicking the "Download" button.  Before the download starts, you will be asked to accept terms and conditions. Click on "Accept and download" to continue.

*NOTE: JSTOR's automatic citations contain errors.

Tips!

tip

Just because an article is available through JSTOR does not mean the Jessup Library has access to it. JSTOR has many different packages of journals, and we only subscribe to a few of them. If you find an article that we don't have access to, you can place an Interlibrary Loan request for it.
