The resources linked below will help you explore your future, whether you are looking for a job for the first time or seeking to switch career paths.

You will find tips and tricks, access to training and educational information, samples of resumes and cover letters, resources for specific populations such as veterans and ex-offenders, and more.  Take your time to explore these sources and find the job or career that is right for you.

Your First Stop: CareerOneStop

CareerOneStop (sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor) is a comprehensive website, with an abundance of information for job seekers.  Start by visiting their Toolkit page, where you will find information about careers, training, skills, jobs, wages, state and local resources, and much more.

CareersOneStop offers information targeted to specific populations, such as veterans and ex offenders, a credentials center where you can find, among other things, information on classes, schools, and training programs, help creating an education plan,  and  information on how education can boost your earnings.

The site also offers information on job search planning, including how to write resumes and cover letters, how to get interview ready, job search tips, job tools, etc.
