CareerOneStop (sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor) is a comprehensive website, with an abundance of information for job seekers. Start by visiting their Toolkit page, where you will find information about careers, training, skills, jobs, wages, state and local resources, and much more.
CareersOneStop offers information targeted to specific populations, such as veterans and ex offenders, a credentials center where you can find, among other things, information on classes, schools, and training programs, help creating an education plan, and information on how education can boost your earnings.
The site also offers information on job search planning, including how to write resumes and cover letters, how to get interview ready, job search tips, job tools, etc.
