How do I conduct literary research?

To find literary criticism resources, look for

• books, using the library's book catalog
• articles, using the databases listed below.

Note: If you are researching contemporary authors (that is, authors who are still alive), you may find little to no literary criticism on them.  If that is the case, your best bet is to use primary sources, such as the authors' works (as well as experts' reviews of the works) and interviews with the authors.
