The Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources (CCCOER) is a joint effort by individual community colleges, regional and statewide consortia, the Open Courseware Consortium, the American Association for Community Colleges, the League for Innovation in the Community Colleges, and many other educational partners to develop and use open educational resources, open textbooks, and open courseware to expand access to higher education and improve teaching and learning

ISKME created OER Commons, launched in 2007, to support and build a knowledge base around the use and reuse of open educational resources (OER). As a network for teaching and learning materials, the site offers engagement with resources for curriculum alignment, quality evaluation, social bookmarking, tagging, rating, and reviewing.

OpenStax CNX is a dynamic non-profit digital ecosystem serving millions of users per month in the delivery of educational content to improve learning outcomes. There are tens of thousands of learning objects, called pages, that are organized into thousands of textbook-style books in a host of disciplines, all easily accessible online and downloadable to almost any device, anywhere, anytime.

The Orange Grove repository is Florida's digital repository for instructional resources. The repository provides an environment for educators to search for, use, remix, share, and contribute educational resources. The repository can also be integrated with your Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas, Canvas, Desire 2 Learn). Discover, contribute, and import repository resources directly from your LMS.

The VCCS Transfer Course Mapping Hub provides a listing of OER selected and aligned specifically for VCCS transfer courses by librarians across the state. Since many of the transfer courses are high enrollment, general education courses, the selected OER may also be useful to equivalent courses offered at 4-year institutions. An OER Commons website designed to support the open education efforts of Virginia faculty and higher education professionals. VIVA Open will serve as a repository for VIVA Course Redesign Grant projects. In addition to serving as a repository, VIVA Open supports the creation and adaptation of new OER, lesson plans, and courses through the resource and module builder tools. VIVA Open also contains VIVA Open Collaborations Hub – an online space to facilitate group collaboration and material discovery. Additionally, VIVA Open Curated Collections provides a listing of existing OER that serve a variety of disciplines.

Wikiversity is a Wikimedia Foundation project devoted to learning resources, learning projects, and research for use in all levels, types, and styles of education from pre-school to university, including professional training and informal learning.
